This particular Mercury has had all the trim removed to give it more of a Ford Coupe than Mercury look. This ground up restoration was finished in a bright red paint scheme that gets this car noticed even when it-s sitting still. But let-s not caught up on just the good looks of this car! Lurking under the hood is a fresh (rebuilt) -95 LT1 Corvette Engine. The engine cover pieces have been painted to match the color of the Coupe and the finned aluminum valve covers give it that cool classic hot rod look of the --50-s. Backing up the Vette engine is a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission allowing this car to easily cruise the highway or perform quick blasts from stop light to stop light, depending upon the situation at hand. Finishing out the Chevy drive train is a GM 10 bolt with a 3. 55 gear ratio. A Fatman front/rear suspension has been added to give this Mercury Coupe a much improved ride feel.
