These numbered cars came with 319Hp from the Factory. Most people throw a supercharger on them but in an effort to stay true to what Carroll Shelby intended. This Mustang chose a path less traveled. Only 2,875 black and silver cars were produced and of these 1,768 were in a 5 speed configuration. Powering this beautiful yellow Machine is the numbers matching 351 Cleveland V8 engine mated to an upgraded 4 speed manual with overdrive. Pushing the power to the rear wheels is a Ford 9' rear end with a 3:00 gear ratio. When looking under the hood you instantly notice the organized and clean engine bay. Upgrades include Micky Thompson valve covers, MSD Distributor Cap, power brakes, power steering, factory A/C system that has been retrofitted to R134a, and even the hood scoop is functioning to allow airflow. The current owner has owned this car since 2003 and they claim the car to be a frame off restoration with new suspension and fuel tank. During the restore, the front fenders, doors, and trunk lid were all replaced before being painted in Dupont high quality yellow paint.
