This antique 1926 Model T Roadster Pickup is powered by the numbers matching 177 CID 2. 9L Inline 4 cylinder and backed by the 2 speed planetary gear transmission. In May of 1925, the Model T Roadster Pickup was added to the large option list of chassis and body styles Ford had available. In basic form, they were priced at $281 or $366 with an electric starter and demountable rims! The 177 CID Inline 4 cylinder produced about 20 horsepower and cruise along at about 45mph. This 30- Ford is all steel except for the rear fenders, which are fiberglass. The Cadillac crown is embroidered in the bench seat letting everyone know where the seat came from. The steering column and steering wheel are also from a Cadillac. Powering this Pickup is a 305 CID V8 engine with Edelbrock alloy valve covers, a Milodon chrome air cleaner, electronic ignition, and an aftermarket intake manifold. A rack and pinion setup up front makes for a nice driving experience no matter the environment. A TH-350 automatic transmission with a floor shifter transfers the power to the Ford rear end.
