By the early 1960s Pontiac had a well-established brand. They wanted to introduce a new car to replace the Ventura and with the help of John DeLorean they introduced the Grand Prix and soon after the GTO. The Grand Prix would have a great run spanning the greater part of 5 decades across 7 generations from 1962-2008! This one is a '77, last year of the 3rd generation and an L J model.
