The GT-R is a sleeper collectible car in the United States but is very well-known throughout the world as an able-performing and handling car both on the street and on the track. The first gen cars were built by Datsun from 1969 to 1974. After a 15 year hiatus, the second gen cars, much improved over their older siblings, were built from 1989 to 2002. These models feature the 2. 6L (159 CID) inline six cylinder engine with dual Garrett T-28 turbochargers, allowing this powerplant to put out 276 HP and 260 foot lbs. of torque.
