The Regal Turbo was a popular street beast of the late 80-s, with only around 7900 produced and was the intro to the GNX series that came about with its limited production of 547 built. This Regal is a full-on tribute to the GNX, and mechanically serves it justice. Powering this Machine is a custom-built 3. 8L V6, built by Weber Power Products, paired to a pro-built 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a 2800RPM Stall, built by Ted's Transmissions. The engine features a set of Champion Racing heads with 1. 65-inch intake and exhaust (custom ported and assembled by Otto's Performance), Diamond Pistons, Forged Rods, Coated cam, rod, and main bearings, align honed block, reciprocating assembly balanced, all ARP fasteners, and it also sports Methanol Injection.
Looking under the hood, you will find that the turbo features a larger heat shield to accommodate the much larger than stock turbo and exhaust, along with an adjustable boost popoff control. Properly tuned at 21 PSI, this mill put down 501RWHP and 480. 7TQ at the wheels (Dyno sheets from PowerFab Autosports available).
