Buick Riviera's 2nd Generation ran from 1966 to 1970, when Buick completely redesigned the Riviera, moving the headlights behind the grille, where they moved up above the grille when not being used, and had a longer body. The hood was extended, and the rear styling was similar to a fastback design. The most significant change for 1967 was Buick's replacement of its venerable 425 'Nailhead' with an entirely new 430 cu in (7. 0 L) V8. Its 360 horsepower (270 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 N? m) of torque were a performance improvement. There has been great thought in the restoration of this Riviera.
