1946 thru 1948 so very little changes in the all new Coupe from Chevrolet. Introduced in mid 1941 production would come to halt a short time later so we could prepare for the great war. Brought back into limited production in late 45 but then labor talks would derail it another 6 months making its official start date March of 1946. The wait was worth it as the public loved the new bold lines and styling. With the huge exaggerated front fenders the public was absolutely in love and still are today. The 48 we have is one of the nicest I have seen. The body has had all of the fender lines filled and smoothed giving it a much sleeker appearance. The paint looks great with a nice candy on the bottom complimented by a silver with a nice flake on top is the perfect contrast. Pop the long hood and you are treated to a nicely finished small block that has just the right amount of shine. The firewall has been smoothed as well maintaining the sleek look. Press the button on the keypad and watch as the door comes to life and pops open without a hitch revealing...
