1954 GMC 250

View Description

This Panel has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration that nearly make the vehicle a time Machine. In 1954 the truck was purchased by the Ziddel family in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Panel was used for deliveries of the family store. As many years passed, the truck was replaced and parked in a barn where it sat for approximately 40 years. In 2006, there was an estate auction where it was purchased. In 2011, the long awaited truck then got a second chance. The owners noticed that the VIN ended in 1007, decoding the fact that this Panel was the seventh off the assembly line! It now carries the nickname, 'lucky seven'. Powering the Panel is the believed to be, original 248 Inline 6 cylinder engine. These engines were vastly advertised as the new thing in performance and reliability. To quote the 1954 ad, '125 horsepower with 7. 5 to 1 extra-high compression using regular gasoline!...

1972 GMC C1500

View Description

This 1972 GMC pickup was purchased new and has stayed in the same family since new. It is a Longbed with a 350 CID V8 and a 3 speed automatic so the drivetrain is pretty standard but whomever did the restoration knew what they were doing. This truck drives like a dream, shifts nicely and is a joy to drive. Especially considering it has AC which if we-re honest, we all want, power steering, and power brakes. As far as the love part goes, the owner bought this truck from his grandfather in 1995 and in 2003 sent it for a full restoration. During the restoration they had a color matched bedliner sprayed in, and covered the bed with a white painted fiberglass tonneau cover. This has...

1949 GMC Pickup

View Description

This special Advance Design Pickup has come a long way from its early life on a Mid-Missouri farm. Owned and restored by Dale Jacobs of Dallas, Texas, this 1949 GMC ton has been down to the frame and came out just a little nicer than new.

Its the old story. It looked very nice and ran just as well but a little extra touch would make it a nicer Pickup. Well, the more he got into areas, the more he saw things that just were not quite right. After all it was a farm work truck for so many years. Before long you are tired of seeing so many imperfections, you check your bank account, and say Lets just make it a new truck. It will only take time and money! It was taken down to the bare frame (the easiest part) and the building of the oversize model kit begins.

This four-year frame off TOTAL restoration project of this numbers matching GMC ton Pickup involved doing much research, making local new restoration contacts, and learning so much about early GMCs.

The Ron Kelly Designs complete rebuild of this original drivetrain and chassis included the GMC 228 engine long block (....

1953 GMC Pickup

View Description

The current owner has enjoyed this Pickup and is ready to allow someone else to add it into their collection. The exterior was done to appear like a survivor from the 50's with its Patina rustic looking body with modern touches. The body is sitting on a Chevrolet S-10 subframe, has S-10 suspension, a redone wooden bed with inserts done to look vintage as well, and 17' smoothie wheels wrapped in radial tires that finish off the appeal. The interior has a mix of modern plus 50's with cloth seats that have seat belts, a tilt steering wheel, chrome handles, more modern AM/FM radio, Lokar shifter, but has original looking gauges on the dash. Powering this beast is a fuel injected 5. 3L V8 engine that is mated to an automatic overdrive transmission. Additional features on this restomod include power steering and power brakes. If you are looking for a 50's GM Pickup that has the appeal of an old survivor...
