In the early 40's the U. S. was on a decade removed from the great depression. America was still bouncing back but just around the corner was WWII. Production would not last long into 1942 when the government ordered the complete shut-down of all civilian automotive manufacturing. This was in direct response to the start of the U. S. 's involvement in WWII. Ford would not be able to restart production until 1946 and that is the year we have here. This '46 Ford has seen many changes and upgrades. Upon approach to this hot rod you are entranced by the beautiful orange paint. The tan leather interior is in great shape, hardly looks used. The stance of this Ford is aggressive.
