The Monte Carlo is a two-door coupe manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1970 to 2007. Chevrolet marketed the Monte Carlo as a personal luxury car, with the last generation classified as a full-sized coup. The car was named for the city Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco. For 1977 a revised front grille with smaller segments with the Monte Carlo 'Knight's Crest' emblem moved to a stand-up hood ornament and revised taillight lenses marked the 1977 Monte Carlo, which was the last year for the 1973-vintage design. This one is shown in a fairly new 2 stage black paint job that was completed approx. 8 years ago & shows very well. The exterior trim, bumpers, & emblems are in good condition. The car sits on classic 15-inch rally wheels wrapped in white lettered BF Goodrich tires that have plenty of tread on them. Powering this sweet 77 is the original 305 (5. 0L) CID V8 that is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt 500 miles ago.
