This 1952 MG is the real deal and is not a kit car (Car# 14414 Body# 13775 / 83480 Engine# XPAG / TD2 / 14661 Engine). MG (Morris Garage) is an English automotive marque registered by the now defunct MG Car Company Limited, the sports car manufacturer began in the 1920s and is best known for its two-seater open sports cars & coupes. This 1952 MG TD is an excellent example of a true British classic sports car that exudes class & luxury. This 3-owner car has been kept in excellent condition over the years with some very nice restoration items that keep this car look as good as it did back in 1952. The car is all original excluding a professional repaint back in 2002. The car features its original numbers matching 1250cc (76 CID) 55HP 4-cylinder engine that runs very strong & balanced. Powering this sweet beast down the road is a newer GM 350 CID V8 crate motor that runs very smooth and sounds very healthy. The new motor has less than 59k miles on it since its installation. This Chevelle 300 is finished in its original shade of Artesian Turquoise, done in a PPG base coat/clear coat process. It also sports a new interior, done in its original Medium Fawn trim color, using original materials. To improve occupant safety, new three point seat belts have been added. The restoration of the car was completed in 2013, and during the resto process, a new Classic Air A/C system was added, complete with stock controls used to actuate the system; along with new bumpers, door seals, window seals, and trunk seal. The floor was insulated, and the firewall was given double insulation. However basic the above sounds, this Chevelle is not to be trifled with, even though it looks like a nicely restored grocery getter, it drivetrain will get anyone's attention. With less than 1500 miles on the drivetrain, the engine and transmission are barely getting broken in. Starting with a far-from original 383 CID V8 010 Nickel block, this stroker has some premium internals: Eagle crank and rods, SpeedPro 10:1 flat-top pistons (reciprocating assembly has been balanced and clearanced), Dart Iron Eagle Platinum heads with 200cc runners and 70cc chambers, a 223/233 hydraulic cam on a 112 degree lobe centerline...

The Packard company was started in 1899 by the Packard brothers and their partner George Weiss who was a major stock holder for Winton cars. After the complaints of poor quality and reliability fell on deaf ears at Winton which pushed the guys to produce their first -horseless carriage -on November 6th, 1899. Improving throughout the beginning of the turn the century until they closed their doors in 1958. The 50-s era Clipper has that iconic bubble style that people fell instantly fell in love with.
