The Nova name was utilized for the top trim level of Chevrolet's Chevy II compact car and was first used in 1962. In 1966, the Chevy II received a major facelift, with significant changes made to the car's design. The '66-'67 Nova Hardtop Coupes are arguably some of the cleanest-looking 1960s-era cars out there, with their combination of 'straights and curves' in the body design (especially the Hardtop Coupe's lack of a B-pillar), and nearly everyone who sees one on the road gives the thumbs up to their occupants. In addition to the physical changes, the 1966 Nova also could be had with a 350HP 327 CID V8, marking the beginning of the Nova as an affordable muscle car. This beauty is powered by a 408 SBC CID V8 that has been paired up to a TH350 transmission, so you can run through the gears with ease. To give the car a nice grumble it features a set of Hooker headers, with dual exhaust running to the rear. This car has undergone an extensive restoration with plenty of documentation to back it.
