Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this 1967 Chevrolet Nova II. 1966 marked the beginning of the second generation of the Chevy II line up. This go around of Chevy IIs introduced an extensive sharp-edged restyle based in part on the Super Nova concept car. In general, proportions were squared up but dimensions and features changed little. Highlights included a bold grille and semi-fastback roofline. 1967 also marked the first year of the Chevy Camaro so the GM rivalry was on. This 67 has been through an extensive restoration and there is an extensive list of work completed and upgrades added so get your popcorn. Starting with the exterior the paint job was completed approx. 2 years ago in a charcoal gray PPG concept basecoat/clearcoat paint that was done very well. Our pictures do not do this Nova justice. The exterior trim, emblems, & bumpers are all in excellent condition. The car sits on 15-inch Weld Racing wheels wrapped in Michelin tires with plenty of tread of them. The front & rear of the car were completely rebuilt with a new subframe connectors, urethane bushings, new shocks on all 4 corners, & custom-built strut rods with Heim joints installed. The car has a new hood & bumpers & the engine compartment was completely detailed. The car features disc brake conversion on the front of the car, the rear drum brakes were recently rebuilt. Powering this classic is a custom built 355 CID V8 with plenty of goodies inside. Staring with the GM 4 bolt main 350 block that was bored & honed .030” with torque plates, mains align honed, zero decked parallel to main, new cam bearings & brass freeze plugs installed. It has a 9.5:1 compression Forged speed pro pistons, ARP head bolts, speed pro plasma moly ring set, Clevite 77 rod & main bearings, & the entire assembly was dynamically balanced. Air Flow research CNC ported aluminum heads with SS 2.02 intake & 1.60” exhaust valves, Comp Cam camshaft, Comp hydraulic lifters, Comp valve springs, Edelbrock RPM aluminum intake, & a custom built Holley 750 annular Carburetor. It features Melling blueprinted HV oil pump with Moroso oil pan/pickup. The engine was tested at Westside performance and made 387 HP & 420 lb/ft of torque. Paired to the 355 V8 is a GM turbo 350 that was completely rebuilt with TCI internals & a new TCI breakaway 11” torque 2200rpm stall converter. That built trans leads into a new 3.55 geared Auburn posi unit rear end with all new bearings installed. The cars wiring harness was completely gone through & re-done with all connections soldered. Other new items on the car include, a new fuel system (tank, lines, sending unit, filter, filler hose), new glass in the windows with rebuilt window door mechanisms, trunk & floor were coated with urethane sound deadener (trunk painted with spatter paint then detailed with carpet & spare tire), & a recently rebuilt steering column. The interior has been completely redone with new door panels, carpet, seats, headliner, armrests, mirrors, sill plates, glove box & much more! This is a beautiful car and would be an excellent addition for any enthusiasts or collector. For more information on this 1967 Chevrolet Nova call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email
