There were two trim levels in 1941, Deluxe and Super Deluxe. This '41 is a deluxe, with a few cool Super Deluxe updates. The car was originally Capri Blue, and is now painted in Lochaven Green, in the late 80s and is a '41 Ford Super Deluxe and Tan Cloth interior. These big 1940s sedans used to be a mainstay of American highways and by-ways. Unfortunately, 70 years of attrition has taken many off the roads. 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe is in great shape for its age. It was restored in the 90s and has aged into it's current state. Receipts for the restoration are in the trunk. From the cloth interior to the solid, accident and rot free body it's a little worse for weathering and paint fade but in good overall shape. The car has a venerable inline six engine with 3 speed manual and three on the tree shifting. The engine purrs like a kitten and the car drives surprisingly well. The quick starting, smooth running motor belies its 74 years of age. The transmission shifts like butter complimenting the comfortable ride.
