1963 was the beginning of what most consider the golden era of America's supercar. The totally redesigned 1963 Corvette was new from the ground up. It even had a catchy new name, Stingray, named after the groundbreaking concept car that Zora Duntov had introduced just a year earlier the --63 Corvette would take many of its styling cues from. The biggest mechanical redesign was the rear end. Only because Duntov convinced GM that it would sell 30000 cars the new Corvette would sport an independent rear suspension. This was absolutely groundbreaking in 1963. Affordable performance was always what the Corvette represented and this 63 is a perfect example of that. This great driver example of a first year C2 comes to us off an older restoration that has held up very well and still shows great to this day. This is one of 2,054 produced in the factory 978 Laguna Blue color with black vinyl interior. The 327 CID, 300hp V8 is numbers matching, along with the intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, transmission, and the 3. 08 positrac rear end. Lots of pieces on the car are original. The white convertible top is in excellent condition, as is the overall rest of the car. This is a superb 1934 3 Window Ford Coupe. A two time Good Guys Lonestar Nationals Winner-s Circle car, this rod has it all. Starting with a 1934 3-Window Coupe body and chassis by Show Me Rod and Customs, this little black coupe got the full hot rod treatment. The roof was chopped 2 1/2-, and the axle is a 4- dropped chrome I-beam by SuperBell. Out back is a triangulated four bar set up with Aldan coilovers. The low coupe is set off perfectly by some black Vintique steelies, giving this car the right amount of classic feel. The black paint is mirror like in its shine, and the red pin-striping and ghost flames provide a great contrast to break up the all black look. Pop the remote doors, you will find a vibrant red interior, with supple leather on everything from the seats, door panels, headliner, and all throughout the trunk. At first glance this appears to be a bare bones street rod interior, but on closer inspection you find a very cleanly installed stereo system, as well as COLD A/C. Other interior touches include a steering wheel and column from IDIDIT, VDO instruments, and Lokar e-brake and shifter....

Under the hood you will find a 454 V8 with an estimated 450 hp. traveling through a turbo 350 and to the pavement with a 10 bolt rear end with 3:55 gears. At the top of that sinister mill is a Big Quick Fuel 4 barrel with polished stainless fuel lines which come from a custom stainless fuel tank. The fuel travels through an Edelbrock aluminum intake to the custom engine built by Nostalgia Hot Rods in Las Vegas. This big block is decked out with custom valve covers with a matching air cleaner and jet coated Hedman Headers. They breathe through an H pipe and a set of dual Flowmaster mufflers. An aftermarket HEI distributor sequences spark through loomed MSD plug wires. You will find an Edelbrock water pump between a polished alternator and modern A/C compressor. In front of these is a Champion Cooling radiator with two electric fans, polished power steering components and custom Ring Brothers aluminum hood hinges to make the engine compartment clean and cohesive.
