The Oldsmobile 88 known from 1989 onwards as the Eighty Eight is a full-size car that was sold and produced by Oldsmobile from 1949 until 1999. From 1950 to 1974 the 88 was the division's top-selling line, particularly the entry-level models such as the 88 and Dynamic 88. The 88 series was also an image leader for Oldsmobile. The 88 was one of the best performing automobiles thanks to its relatively small size, light weight and advanced overhead-valve high-compression V8 engine. This engine, originally designed for the larger C-bodied and more luxurious 98 series, also replaced the straight-8 on the smaller B-bodied 78. The F250 was Fords workhorse of the bunch. Built for the working class and used primarily as work/fleet vehicles and there are not many of these 5th generation 3/4 ton trucks left. This example is a 3-owner truck with most of its life spent as an electrician's work truck, and still has the utility cap and bed mat. The consignor bought in 2000, and had the top end of the 362 V-8 rebuilt, utilizing new guides and seals. She still has the 3 on the tree manual transmission, showing 182,830-miles. This is what we call a true survivor, and is still in the original paint and hub caps, as well as the original tailgate that's been off while she has the cap on. We were quite surprised to see how clean she was under the bed mat, as it's been covered since new!...

This particular one is wearing a fresh Wimbledon White paint job to go with its black vinyl interior and red carpet, which gives it a great classic look. It is powered by the original 'C' code 289 CID V8 engine and a C-4 automatic transmission which will give you plenty of power to get down the road, while not breaking the bank at the gas station. In 1967 the 'C' code 289 pushed 200 horsepower to get this fastback moving! This car had a lot of work done to it around the same time as the paint, including installing a remanufactured 2 bbl carburetor on the 289 engine, a new gas tank, new fuel pump, and new weatherstripping.
