The Chevelle was part of Chevrolets A-body platform and was in production for model years 1964 through 1977. During its time in production, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates and offered different body styles including coupes, sedans, convertibles and station wagons. This is a full frame off, five year build, restoration. Every single piece of metal on this Scout has been removed, sand blasted, primer coated and painted. A POR 15 Hard Nose two-part dark blue paint was used to paint the: Frame, arms for the 3 link on the front, shock tubes, and the underbelly. While it was stripped down, all the bolts were replaced with grade 8 bolts and body mounts replaced as well. The exterior body has been professionally painted with PPG Global custom light aqua blue with a touch of green. With multiple coats of clear, this color scheme is glossy and screams 'Take me to the beach! ' The removable top has a nice glossy white finish, to make the rest of the car pop!
