The two-tone surf green and ivory take you right back to the 50s where car manufactures had some taste. These cars were large loud and in charge in both style and power. The interior if this Bel Air stays true to the roots featuring the originally styled interior pattern on both front and back bench seats that has been redone. This stunning yellow convertible pretty much checks every box if you're looking for a hot cruiser. The extensive restoration on this car was completed in 2003 but could easily fool you into thinking it was newer. The paint on the car is in fantastic shape and shines great. The mileage on the car was 68,185 when the restoration was completed. Now it has a little over 2,000, showing that there have been just a little over 33,000 miles since the rebuild. The owner states that the engine and transmission are original to the car and have both been completely rebuilt. However, the engine had a few upgrades installed while they were in there. It is now bored 40 over, has larger valves in the heads, and a slightly more aggressive cam. Sitting on top of the engine is an Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley 600 CFM carb. In the mid 1950's Ford was ready to replace the dated Crestline which was used across many platforms. For the new design Ford used many design cues from the predecessor but made many aesthetic changes. Using the name of Henry Ford's Estate near Dearborn, Michigan known as, Fair Lane, the Fairlane was born. The Fairlane would see seven generations across only 15 years with new designs and changes every 2-3 years. Here we have a 1967 Model, the final year of the fifth generation. Many updates were made and this design, the front fascia makes for one of my favorite Fairlanes! As you approach this car you take in the deep dark blue paint with a light blue top, and she looks really good. I really love the stance of this car.
