1966 Ford Mustang

This is a far cry from your typical Mustang. The build was completed in 2005 and it still looks amazing. The Ford running gear is long gone and in place is a Chrysler 440 big block backed up by a 727 Torq Flite automatic and back to an 8 3/4 narrowed rear end. The 440 is out of a 1967 Chrysler 300. The heads are closed chamber 516 heads to help gain some extra compression. The camshaft is a Comp Cams with. 550 lift and the lifters are also Comp Cams. Feeding fuel to this big block is a set of 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetors on top of a tunnel ram intake manifold. The transmission was rebuilt using a manual valve body and a 10' torque converter. This has the look! It's red, has a tunnel ram intake sticking out of the hood and 31x18. 50 rear tires. 'Clear a path!
