Ford produced the fifth generation F-Series trucks from 1967 to 1972, making this 1968 F100 the 2nd year of this body style. The fifth-generation F-series pick-up was built on the same platform as the 1965 revision of the fourth-generation. This combination provided a much better ride quality and also helped to reduce tire wear. The Ford F100 is powered by a 302 CID V-8 engine and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. This cool old fifth generation F100 has mainly used as a back & forth to work driver. The wife told him to get a vehicle out the driveway, so he brought the truck to our Louisville location. The Ford Mustang was thrown onto us in the spring of 1964 and was instantly America's car. People, young and old, men and women, rich and poor everyone loved the pony car. For 1964 the Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off appearance, which was mostly evident when viewing the car from the side or rear. Hinting at its roots in the previous generation Thunderbird that it evolved from, the new model retained a similar grille design with dual headlights and a 113- wheelbase.
