Ford produced the fifth generation F-Series trucks from 1967 to 1972, making this 1968 F100 the 2nd year of this body style. The fifth-generation F-series pick-up was built on the same platform as the 1965 revision of the fourth-generation. This combination provided a much better ride quality and also helped to reduce tire wear. The Ford F100 is powered by a 302 CID V-8 engine and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. This cool old fifth generation F100 has mainly used as a back & forth to work driver. The wife told him to get a vehicle out the driveway, so he brought the truck to our Louisville location. I think I would have got rid of the wife 1st! Just kidding folks! The interior is still sporting its original cloth bench seat and has weathered the test of time. A set of Autometer gauges have been added under the dash to keep up with engine rpm-s, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage, just the essential stuff.
