The Mercury Eight was the first car produced by Mercury with the introduction beginning in 1939 and running to the 1951 model year. It was advertised as being a big car that was actually economical coming priced in the $1,000 range, several hundred dollars below the Lincoln Zephyr. This particular '39 Mercury Eight went through a restoration back in 2007 staying true to the originality of the car and still shows very well.
