This Pink 1960 Super 88 is back by the original 394 cubic-inch Rocket V8 with four-barrel carburation which was standard on the Super 88. The 88 was the division's top-selling line in 1950-1974, particularly the entry-level models such as the 88 and Dynamic 88. Oldsmobiles were completely restyled for 1959, with the 88 series given longer, lower and wider styling on a GM B-body chassis. Styling highlights for the new models, promoted as the 'Linear Look,' included six-window styling on four-door pillared sedans, glassy semi-fastback rooflines on Holiday coupes and flat-blade rooflines with thin windshield and C-pillars on Holiday sedans which created a large open greenhouse effect. This G-body is the perfect combination of show and go. The exterior has been painted in Milano Maroon Firemist and cleared with ppg. All paint work was professionally done by Attitude Custom Painting in Florida. The owner seller states there's no rust on this car at all. Under the hood you will find a 5. 3L engine out of a 2009 Chevy Avalanche with flat top pistons installed. The engine was completely rebuilt with all new internals which include Texas Speed 224R cam 112 lobe separation 588 lift. It also has an LS swap GM performance oil pan, Melling's oil pump, new timing set, GM 862 heads ported and oversized intake and exhaust valves installed. It doesn't stop there. Also installed was a Trunnion rocker kit, hardened 3/8 pushrods, LS7 roller lifters, shorty headers, new water pump and 160 degree thermostat, MSD 6LS box, Edelbrock dual plane intake, Fitech easy street 600 horsepower fuel injection system, and the list goes on. What a different time it was back in 1935, with unemployment at 20%, and as the clouds of war built in Europe. Somehow, the United States managed to build fabulous cars like these, regardless of circumstances. This Art-Deco era Olds is an artistic reminder of times gone by. They don't build cars like this anymore, and to duplicate it- even as pragmatic as it is, would be cost prohibitive.

This gorgeous 62 Cutlass is said by the owner to be a number's matching car. It is also believed to have a rebuilt motor and transmission. The mileage shows 9,750 on the clock but the mileage is unknown. This car is a gorgeous Silver that has been repainted back to it's original color. This sweet ride is the first year of the eighth generation Olds 88. The overall dimensions shrunk for the new body styles, but head room, and rear seat legroom both increased!

The odometer shows 33,000 miles and some change. Given the obvious respray and known history we are pretty confident saying that is 133,000 miles and some change. The current family has owned the vehicle for 30 years and says they are the second owner.

A sticker on the AC components reveals it was converted to R-134 refrigerant in 2013. The AC is not currently blowing cold but shouldn't take much more than a basic charge. The car has spent most of a it's time in the garage the last 30 years and was one of many cars in the stable.
