The 4-4-2 was Oldsmobiles answer to the Muscle car war of the 60-s. They were stylish and powerful with the quality that people came to expect from Oldsmobile. This beauty is one of the few convertibles left that you will see driving down the road. The car was painted back to its original color of Jade Gold Metallic and it looks stunning. Its almost as if its three different colors depending on the lighting. Put the powered top up and you will see the new black vinyl which helps to show off more of the Metallic gold in the paint. Ofcourse the black stripe on the fender proudly announces that this indeed is a 442. Under the hood is the emphamis 400 that puts out plenty of power to get this drop top down the road. Hooked up to the TH400 transmission which shifts through all 3 gears without a hitch. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi which, in my opinion, is a must in a 60 era-s muscle car.
