The 1972 Old 442's were the last of a dying breed of American muscle cars, with the rising costs to insure them as well as the Governments stifling grip on emissions, and have come to represent a bygone era. Powered by a balanced & blueprinted 'Rocket 350' and teamed up to a TH350 transmission, this 442 convertible is ready for the open roads. In 1972, the '442' badging was applied as an appearance & handling package, which carried a sticker price of $29, consisted of the 'FE2' suspension upgrades (heavy duty springs & shocks, front and rear sway bars, boxed lower rear control arms, and 14x7' wheels), side striping, fender and decklid badging, faux hood louvers, and a unique grille.
