At the time, the 403 became the highest selling model for Peugeot with over 1 million produced. The 403 was available in several different style including 4 door sedan, familiale (wagon), convertible, and pickup. The 403 was an upgrade from the previous 203 and featured a 1. 5 liter 4 cylinder engine. The I4 employed pushrod actuated vales, a cross-flow cylinder head, and. it's a hemi! The hemispherical head makes this little ride able to boast 'it's got a hemi'. The engine is rated at 65 horsepower at 5,000 rpms. She fires right up at a touch of the starter button and makes a nice little sound. This '60 has a glossy coat of cream paint that certainly looks the part of a '60s economy car.
