This Model T is equipped with what we believe to be the factory front-mounted 177-cubic-inch inline four-cylinder engine. The ignition system used in the Model T was an unusual one, with a low-voltage magneto incorporated in the flywheel, supplying alternating current to trembler coils to drive the spark plugs. This ignition made the Model T more flexible as to the quality or type of fuel it used. This Model Ts original ignition system is operable, but it also has been enhanced with an Electric ignition system. This Cobra is MODIFIED, in a nice way from the ground up. Lets start with the obvious exterior modifications. Rhodes Custom aluminum wing. The original Black paint with custom Blue/Silver Flames, this was one of 1376 Black on Black Cobras. It has sequential taillights and rides on a set of Cosmis Racing XT wheels and Nitto Tires. The Lark was a smaller car that was unique because Studebaker designed it incorporating the styling of its larger cars. Using many of the same driveline parts and interior trim in a smaller updated version. The result was a fun to drive and very stylish vehicle.
