The Rambler is an automobile manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1958 and 1969. It was the second incarnation of AMC's forerunner. The second-generation Rambler compact was sold under the Nash and Hudson Motors marques from 1954 and 1955. Many viewed the second-generation design as the best looking and were arguably the most attractive compacts of all time in Detroit in the early 1960s.
