For the 1970 Barracuda, redesign, removed all its previous commonality with the Valiant. The original fastback design was deleted from the line and the Barracuda now consisted of coupe and convertible models. The all-new model, styled by John E. Herlitz, was built on a shorter, wider version of Chrysler's existing B platform, called the E-body. Though the --Cuda shared the same B platform and is similar in appearance to the Challenger, the two vehicles shared no sheet metal. This is a true factory FC7 Plum Crazy Purple car, and originally was equipped with a black vinyl top, roof, and interior. It has undergone a full rotisserie restoration in December of 2015.
