The first Pontiac GTO was available as an optional package for the Pontiac Tempest and was available in coupe, hardtop and convertible body styles. This beauty is finished in Gloss Black, with a Tan vinyl interior, and is near show quality! This car is powered by a consignor stated LS3 crate engine, with approx. 1,700-miles since installed. The 430-hp engine is mated to a new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, and a new Currie built Ford 9' w/ 3:50 gears. Many times cars like this are just slapped together mechanically, and the new owner has to correct some of the issues or mistakes made - not the case here! She was updated suspension-wise with Hotchkis lower trailing arms, w/ adjustable uppers for the Currie, Hiedts upper/lower tubular A-arms, w/ adjustable coil over shocks, 1' sway bars, and a Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brake system.
