This gorgeous Trans Am is powered by the ever so great LS1 and is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. What's better than a 6-speed WS6? A triple black 6-speed WS6! This one is currently on its 3rd owner and has covered a modest 26,124 miles. It is also completely stock. A lot of these were heavily modified. It-s no question that this Trans Am has been very well cared for and treated like one of the family since it was first bought in April of 2000. Equipment includes: 12-disc CD changer, Power top, Cruise control, ABS, Traction control, Dual air bags, Leather seats, Tilt steering column and power driver's seat. The LS1 that was first introduced to the Trans Am and Camaro was 1998. This was a giant leap forward over the dated LT1. Between the rebuilt powertrain and the classy color combo, this is a sweet ride!

Powering this cool old ride is a 305 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 1350 miles ago. A newer radiator and thermostat replaced in 2010 keep the engine running cool. Sending that V8 torque to the rear wheels is a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that was also rebuilt. Thanks to stainless steel headers and Flowmaster mufflers, this car sounds just as good as it looks. This rebuilt powertrain allows for more reliability, smoother driving, and most importantly, restored power to the engine! The car has also been very well maintained with records that indicate oil changes have been done no more than 1,500 miles apart since the engine was rebuilt!

The car also features new rear leaf springs and U-joints, body bushings, and a new pinion gear. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in Brentwood brown. The paint is believed to have been redone in the early 1990s and is in good condition. Supporting each corner of this classic ride are rally wheels that are wrapped in BFG radial tires that are in good condition with plenty of tread life left in them....

This 20th Anniversary Pace Car edition is #56 of only 1,555 produced and argued to be the most powerful and refined Firebird. Fitted with the same turbocharged 3. 8L V6 found in the Buick GNX paired to the 200-4R transmission that were rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago, this Trans Am has a need for speed. Pontiac rated it at 250 horsepower, but the GM factory dyno rang up 300 horsepower on a pretty consistent basis. It handles the curves in the road just as it's meant to.

The white exterior paint is believed to be mostly original and is in good condition. The camel colored leather interior is very clean as evident by the photos. The back seats fold down for added cargo space. The rear hatch has a retractable cover and hold the storage bag for the T-tops.

A 455 bored and stroked to 468 motor with Ohio Crankshaft, SRP Forged Pistons, and H-Beam Rods power the top while a Rebuilt TH400 Transmission keeps the power flowing. New Front Suspension, Rotating Assembly, and Brakes including rotors and pads are also brand new. Edelbrock Torker II Intake, Davis Unified Ignition HEI Distributor which was custom built for this vehicle pulls the grand package altogether.
