Powered by a strong running 400 CID Pontiac V8 paired with a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission, this Trans-Am is ready to roll. This Firebird also has a rather unique option not often discussed; known as the -Rallye Shifter,- it was essentially a factory ratchet shifter. After numerous blown engines from street racers pushing the gear shift from 1st to neutral on accident, this option was introduced in 1969 and was offered on some vehicles to reduce warranty claims.

Unfortunately, the power of late 70s muscle cars never quite matched the good looks. Knowing this, the seller of the vehicle has opted to pump up the power output with a few subtle upgrades. An Edelbrock performance carburetor and aluminum intake were installed to get air pumping into the engine with ease. Pumping it back out is achieved through a set of long tube headers and a custom exhaust system giving this classic --Bird some bite to match...

Ordered new when she lived in California, this late '70's muscle car is equipped with the standard Oldsmobile 403 cubic inch engine and the three speed automatic transmission.

This car was ordered without the hood bird, but if the next owner wants one, they're readily available. This T/A's white exterior paint is all original, but the fender flares have been replaced. It just recently had a full service and everything was checked, and repaired if necessary, to make sure the new owner gets a 2nd Gen. car that's all ready to go. It's even been fully professionally detailed right after it came in.

This black-over-silver TA has been customized with a bunch of custom upgrades. Starting with its 350 CID V8 GMPP crate engine that has been upgraded to 1990 L98 Corvette specifications, including reconditioned L98 aluminum heads (done by Dale Parker), complete with new heavy duty valve springs, new valves, and roller rockers. This mighty mouse is also enhanced with an L98 Corvette-spec roller cam, Edelbrock upgraded TPI system, ported upper and lower intakes, larger diameter throttle body, and new injectors. An SLP cold air intake system helps improve the volume of air fed to the motor, along with reducing its temperature, further enhancing the power output potential. A custom exhaust system sucks the spent gases out, and provides a nice rumble out back, as well. Helping get the power to the ground are a new 700R4 4-speed automatic trans, new aluminum driveshaft, and a set of 3. 42:1 gears with PosiTrac differential. Not only has the drivetrain been substantially enhanced, but so has the rest of the car.
