The Porsche 356 was a German sports car produced from 1948-1965. This Porsche was built by Specialty Auto Sports. The 911SC was made from 1978-1983 and featured a 3. 0 Liter flat six engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. By 1983 the opposed 6 was rated at 204 Horsepower. This particular SC however, features an extra ace up its sleeve in the form of a Paxton Supercharger. With the forced induction, this little number really scoots. Perhaps one of the most noticeable features of this 911 is the Slant nose body style. Porsche didn't offer a Slant nose from the factory until 1986, but it was available through the service department. The Slant nose or 'Flachbau' featured a forward sloping hood and fenders, and a rear 'wide body' kit giving a wider stance. It resembled the look of the Porsche race cars of the time and gives an aggressive look. This awesome little Porsche just went through an eight-year restoration. Including: engine rebuild, new paint, upholstery, new carpets, new smog test, passed emissions every year. The factory A/C and power sunroof work flawlessly. After a six-year absence, the 912 was re-introduced to North America for the 1976 model year as the 912E (internal factory designation 923) to fill the entry-level position left vacant by the discontinuation of the 914, while the new 924 -' another Porsche-Volkswagen joint effort vehicle and the 914's official replacement -' was being finalized and put into production.

The 'Prototype' Museum collection in Hamburg, Germany includes a 912E pre-series vehicle constructed utilizing a 911 Chassis No. 911 520 1617 and four-cylinder VW-Porsche 90 HP 2. 0L Type 4 similar to the late-model 2. 0L 914/4. The Porsche 912E (E for Einspritzung-'fuel injection) is a one-year-only (1976).
