The original engine and transmission are still in place making this a true numbers matching vehicle. While the L48 engine, a 350 cubic-inch Chevy small block did not produce much power, a mere 165 horsepower, the transmission is a rare option of the 4-speed manual transmission for Corvettes in this year and certainly brings it up a notch. The car has a calm yet solid heartbeat, and with the T-Tops off, shift it into 1st, ease the clutch out, and this --Vette is an absolute blast to drive.
While originally rolling off the assembly line in Orange Flame paint, the car received a minor color change to a Red exterior which has been very nicely kept. Between taking the T-Tops off and turning the key, you-ll be greeted by a quite comfortable Medium Saddle vinyl interior.
