Pontiac produced 7,500 10th Anniversary T/A's. The only option you had was powertrain, you could either get a 400 CID V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission, or a 403 CID V8 with an automatic transmission, all other options/features came standard. This one is powered by the 6. 6 403 which was recently rebuilt and includes Comp Cams full roller cam, lifters and rockers for added durability and smoother performance. The 10 Anniversary Trans Am features a distinctive silver charcoal paint, T-Tops with silver tint glass, rare leather interior in silver, and the heavy duty WS6 handling package complete with never used before Turbo Alloy wheels. The front and rear end was restyled in 1979 and the 10th Anniversary cars received their own special -screaming chicken- hood decal which extended off the hood and on to the fenders. This beautiful example features the original 403 CID and automatic transmission. The transmission was also rebuilt and has approximately 1,000 miles on it since being rebuilt. The silver leather interior on this Trans Am shows very well, and has little to no signs of wear over the years. The odometer reads 60,632, which is believed to be the actual mileage on car.
