The Triumph Spitfire 1500 saw a 6 year run in the US ending in 1980. Engine output changed a few times over the years but for the most part the model remained unchanged over its run. The roadster was a lightweight, low slung sports car which relied on a busy little 1,500cc Inline 4 cylinder for power. This power plant may seem meager, but for a vehicle weighing in under 1,900 pounds, the output is more than enough. This particular example is a 1977 model which has undergone an extensive cosmetic restoration to make it one of the straightest, most presentable Spitfires you will find. The body has been completely hand sanded to a completely smooth surface. It is finished in Sherwin-Williams '600 MPH' 2 part black urethane which is typically used for aircraft. It has been coated with 3 coats of clear on the body and 6 coats on the bonnet. The result is a glass like finish which is so deep it looks as if you could reach your hands into it. This 1976 TR-6 is painted in a very elegant Burgundy over biscuit colored vinyl interior and a black soft top. The Plymouth Scamp is a variant of the Plymouth Valiant. The '74 Scamps originally came with 318 CID V8s from the factory. This particular example has been upgraded with a beefier 360 CID V8. To compliment the 360, this Scamp has a rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission and an 8 3/4 rear end with Sure Grip and 3. 55 gears. With its current set up, this makes for a fun little hot rod to shoot around town.
