Everett-Morrison began when Buford Everett purchased an original mold of the Cobra and tooling for the Chevrolet Cheetah from Dean Morrison in 1983 in Chicago. From the beginning, the company introduced innovations that would make the new kit more responsive, powerful, and yet reasonable to construct with a minimum of tooling and car knowledge. They are considered some of the best AC Cobra kit cars available. This 2009 Everett Morrison A/C Shelby Cobra comes equipped with a massive 460 cubic inch Big Block V8 that is linked to a smooth shifting C6 Automatic transmission both with only 464 actual miles since being built and has a complete aluminum top end with Elderbrock heads and intake. That engine and transmission combination paired with the very popular Ford 9 inch rear end and 4. 11 gears you can only imagine how much of a joy this little roadster is to drive. I know many will argue that all of these cars are supposed to have manual transmissions but I will agree that there is a great joy that comes from driving this car without the worries of shifting gears and being able to focus fully on the drive.
