Sporting a fresh modern look, the second-generation C/K line of trucks received a redesigned exterior and updated suspension. The C/K trucks received a new shape in 1967, sitting lower to the ground for easier access. For the exterior, important updates include a double-walled pickup box made of steel and rust-resistant body and sheet metal. The C-series two-wheel-drive trucks received an independent coil spring trailing arm for the front suspension.

This truck is a complete nut and bolt, frame off restoration that was started in 2017 and finished in 2019 for the Idaho Rescue Mission- 'Project for Veterans'. The truck only has about 200 miles since being finished last year and it is show ready. Powering this beautiful pickup is a new 283 CID V8 engine that is mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The engine is dressed up with dual headers, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner, and the classic orange GM block. No expense was spared while rebuilding this truck, the frame and other parts were all powder coated by All American Powder Coating and stainless steel was also used. When walking around this '55 you instantly notice the sharp two toned Green and Z-tone White paint theme that is topped off with black pin striping. The paint is GM code 591-593 and is matched to the interior as well. Notable exterior features would have to include the chrome dual exhaust system, 16' steel wheels with hub cabs, and the oak wooden bed with black dividers. Classic styling with a modern feel, this '58 F100 combines the best of all worlds with only 2,603 miles on the rebuild completed several years ago. This truck was built in Ford's Kansas City plant and was immediately purchased by a farming family in Colorado. In 2011 the current owner purchased this truck that needed some love. The body was in good shape, but need attention so it was torn apart and both the body and frame were sandblasted to see what the overall condition was. Any potential issues were addressed correctly by having a professional cut out issues and replace them with good metal. Once the body was completed and ready for paint, the gorgeous two-tone Ford Indian Turquoise and bright white were laid on the body. This stunning combination paired perfectly with the 20' Ridler wheels both front and rear. The front suspension was replaced with TCI Mustang II independent front suspension and has 11' power disc brakes on the front. The power rack and pinion steering was added for easy drivability and is enormously helpful on those long cruises.
