This Jeepster is a nice example of a 2-wheel drive convertible drop top designed by Brooks Stevens. The convertible Jeepster is one of the most interesting buy also overlooked vehicles of all time. The exterior of this 50' Jeepster is painted in a Cyprus Green Poly. Our opinion, gives a better than new look with the stunning tan interior. I would rate the paint on this ride a 'good quality driver' but will definitely turn some heads at a car show! The European style certain windows and top is in great condition. This Jeepster however has had just a bit of an upgrade and a stout new 350 SBC has been dropped under that hood giving this Jeepster plenty of get up and go! The Jeepster was advertised as the last Phaeton Built in America but by 1950 production was Halted. 1950 was the first year for the 4-Cyl overhead valve 'F' head engine. This beautiful 1950 Willys Jeepster was bought in 2000 and the restoration started that year. This car has been redone from the ground up and nothing was left unfinished. At this moment the only things that are not working are the driver door handle and the gas gauge. This car comes with a mountain of receipts, write ups and documentation of what has been done. The Inline 4-Cyl engine is the original to the car and the 3-speed manual is as well. The mileage is believed to be actual at 61,867.
