1934 Ford Roadster

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to announce this snappy red 1934 Ford Roadster. Behind that classy billet aluminum grille and under the flamed hood is a fire-breathing 454 CID V8, which is backed by a stout GM TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The big 454 is topped by an all Edelbrock setup, with dual Edelbrock 4BBL carbs and a ceramic coated Edelbrock intake manifold. Other key adds to the 454 include a Milodon deep sump oil pan, MSD distributor, ceramic coated Sanderson headers, AFCO aluminum radiator, and a Spal electric fan. Engine dress up parts include Billet Specialties valve covers and air cleaner, chrome 120-amp alternator, and polished water pump and pulleys. All that power and torque spins a Ford 9 in. rear end with 3.89:1 gears, while the adjustable multilink suspension out back helps keep the rubber planted, and a driveshaft safety loop adds a level of protection during hard launches. The front end has tubular upper and lower control arms, GM 11" disc brakes and QA1 coilover shocks. The body is fiberglass B&B kit, and it sits on a steel tube chassis. Moving inside, there is a custom interior with white Ultra Leather, matched nicely with tan carpet. The dashboard has Faria gauges peeking out behind the fat-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel on the tilt column, and there is a Lokar shifter and e-brake. Occupant entertainment is provided by the new floor-mounted Bluetooth media control unit, which feeds the new speakers. The fuel cell is in the trunk, which is finished in white Ultra Leather to match the interior. The custom canvas top is in very good condition as well. This sweet street rod has many custom touches will make you the envy of your next car meet, and is great for a power tour or cruise in.
