Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this custom 1936 Ford Tudor humpback. This Ford has come a long way since it first rolled off the production line. Though the body is still all Henry Ford steel, the engine and trans have been removed in favor of a 5.3L LS-based V8 and 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive unit. Needless to say, this makes for a much peppier ride. A 9" Ford housing sits out back with 3:50 gears for a good mix of performance and economy.

The Humpback had had plenty of work elsewhere on the chassis as well, including new ball joints, new shocks, new control arms, new power steering rack, new U-joints, and new steering joint. This is all as a refresh since the restomod was completed in 2009. At that time, the body was painted in this beautiful Midnight Blue, and the plush tan interior was installed as well. With the car comes extra documentation, such as receipts for work done on the car as well as shop manuals.

With all the updates on this slick '36, it drives like a new car!
