Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale is proud to offer this ELEGANT 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown. The Chrysler Imperial was introduced in 1926 and was Chrysler's top-of-the-line vehicle for much of it's history. Models were produced with the Chrysler name until 1954, after which it became a stand-alone brand: and again from 1990 to 1993. The company positioned the cars as a prestige marque to rival Cadillac, Continental, Lincoln, Duesenberg, Pierce Arrow, Cord, and Packard. According to Antique Automobile, “The adjective ‘imperial' according to Webster's Dictionary means sovereign, supreme, superior or of unusual size or excellence. The word imperial, thus justly befits Chrysler's highest priced model".

The 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown is certainly that of “Excellence", “Superior" or even “Supreme"! This vehicle is absolutely BREATHTAKING! The owner spared no expense in this “Frame-Off" Restoration, from the spectacular PPG Basecoat Clearcoat Exterior paint in eye-catching “Light Blue Metallic", to the one-of-a-kind gauges and dash, to the grandiose Leather/Fabric “Light Blue" Interior, to the outer stainless-steel roof line trimmed in shiny chrome, to the rear finned tail lights, to the wide white wall tires-with sparkling chrome hub caps---this car is simply SENSATIONAL! Moreover, this Imperial is a “matching numbers" vehicle, powered by the original (rebuilt) 413 CID V8 Engine and the original (rebuilt) A727 “Torque-Flight" push button Automatic Transmission. Other options include, but are not limited to: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, Air Conditioning, Am/Fm Radio, Remote Control Outside Mirrors, Seat Belts, Spare Tire, Chrome Hub Caps and “Wide" White Wall Radial Tires.
