The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1973 Dodge Charger. This hot looking Mopar had the engine and transmission rebuilt in March of 2012 and is ready to own the streets with it’s 70’s throwback style and menacing look. The 360ci V-8 and Automatic transmission will get you A to B in Mopar coolness. Chargers received new sheet metal, though at first glance only the rear roof "C-Pillars" looked different and were in fact longer, wider, and slightly taller than the 1971-72 cars. Also new were vertically slatted taillights and new grilles. Hidden headlights were dropped, even as an option. The SE models had a new roof treatment that had a "triple opera window" surrounded by a canopy-style vinyl roof. All other models had a new quarter window treatment, discontinuing its AMC Gremlin-style window in favor of a more conventional design. While styling and powertrain changes were evolutionary, the chassis was radically re-engineered. New rubber-isolated suspension systems reduced noise. Front disc brakes were now standard. Options include: AC, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Vinyl Interior, Seat belts. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
