Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. In 1998 Pontiac only produced 1,900 Formula without the WS6 package, making this one rare bird! A clean Carfax shows no accidents, and only 2 owners. The original owner has put countless dollars and hours into tweaking and modifying the Formula to be an impressive "sleeper." A few camshafts have been changed out over the years, the cylinder heads have been replaced, a driveshaft loop was added, the rear axle was upgraded with 3.42 gears (a huge upgrade from the factory 2.73) with an upgraded limited slip differential, and countless other upgrades to bring this Formula up to snuff. A majority of the work was done between 2004-2006, and roughly 20,000 miles have been put on the build, showing its robustness and reliability. this Firebird Formula is an incredible performing vehicle built on a rarely optioned car.
