This 350 TPI boasts 230 hp from the factory, and is backed by a TH700 4 speed automatic transmission. The famous IROC-Z, was named after the popular competition International Race of Champions. It was offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially valved Delco - Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", and a special decal package. The 1989 Camaros now came with rear shoulder belts. The Corvette PASS-KEY ignition lock system was also adopted for all 1989 Chevrolet Camaros. TPI motors got better performing `Multec' fuel injectors as well. Since it was purchased new, only one person has owned this Iroc-Z. Not only is the vehicle clean inside and out, but it also has a clean Carfax. This all original Iroc-Z is fully loaded.
