In 1985, Chevrolet introduced the legendary IROC-Z version that was named after the International Race of Champions. Offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially-valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", a special decal package, and an optional tuned port injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette. It also shared the Corvette's unidirectional tires in a 245/50/VR16 and received unique new aluminum 5-spoke 16x8-inch wheels. This three-owner, show-ready, 1989 Camaro IROC-Z has its original 350 TPI 5.7L V8 Equipped with rare SLP goodies and 4-speed automatic with only 57,780 miles showing. Everything works, including the power windows, hatch switch, radio, cold AC, and power seats. The steering wheel leather is good, the factory leather interior and factory floor mats look great, as well as the original hatch shade, carpet, and headliner. Only things that are not original are the very expensive repaint and decals, windshield, intake, and catalytic converter.
