This Grey 71 is a great example of what people would do with these “grocery getters†in the late 70’s and early 80’s. With its darker gray paint and a set period correct racing stripes there is no mistaking this Nova means business. The fresh 355 crate engine gives you the perfect mix of performance and reliability. Dressed up nicely with chrome valve covers and breather it has just enough shine to draw attention but not so much that you will have to clean it after every drive. The HEI ignition keeps things running smooth while the electric choke makes starting it an absolute breeze. Of course you got to have that muscle car sound, which the set of headers connected to the true dual exhaust achieve that nicely. The aluminum wheels look great and fit the car nicely with the modern radial tires improving the ride quality tremendously. The traction bars are classic late 70’s hotrod stuff and are perfect fit for this 71. Open the door and the black vinyl interior is in great shape with the B&M Quik Silver shifter giving you the ability to cruise like a regular automatic or bang through the gears like it’s a drag racing machine. Either way this Nova is ready to run no matter how you want to drive it.
