The Chevy Nova was the originally meant to be the second car with a very economical 4 Cylinder setting their sites on the well accepted Ford Falcon. It was GM's fastest new car development. 18 months from conception the new Chevy II as they were known as was coming off the assembly line Willow Run. Unlike the corvair the nova was not intended to be a game changer It was intended to be a back to the basics no-frills entry-level car. That was until the second year of production when Chevy put the SS option on the check list. The third generation Nova's were to look closer to its big brother the Chevelle except all nova's would be Post cars like this one due to the semi uni- body designs. The car has been painted back to its original placer gold color. They have done an interior upgrade with the repaint placing bucket seats with an SS correct floor shifter that has the gauges in the cluster. Interior is clean with the back seat being untouched. The black vinyl top helps to tie it all together. Under the hood is its original 5.0 engine That still runs strong with the th350 really handling all the power quite nicely. Shifting thru all three gears as it should. Upfront there is a set of disc with back having the Big drums. The seller decider to go with a set of classic cragars which really do look good on this 72 Nova.
