The Chevrolet Camaro started its awesome run in 1967 and still in production today except for a short lapse from 2003 to 2010. Introduced as General Motors answer to the Ford Mustang. Over five million Camaros have been built since its inception, spanning to the present sixth generation model. Here we have a 1989, a late 3rd generation model. The 3rd gens were known as the F-body camaro and first to feature a hatchback body style. This '89 is specifically a IROC-Z Convertible. IROC stands for International Race of Champions, a racing circuit. This racing circuit is well renowned for all the cars being equipped the same; therefore, it's all on driver skill! The IROC-Z debuted in '85 and featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", a special decal package, and an optional Tuned Port Injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette.

As you walk around this '89 you will notice just how nice the condition of the red paint and black top. The black leather interior follows suit and balances the tones well. Under the hood, and stated to be the original numbers matching, is the 5.0L V8 and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission! There is the Z28 designation on the RPO codes which in 1989 meant IROC-Z.
