This 1972 Chevrolet SS Yenko Nova Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Don Yenko set up a performance shop for Chevrolet. His 1st official offering, in 1965, was a hopped up version of Chevrolet’s Corvair called the stinger. Of course, Don Yenko is more remembered for the Big Block Camaros and Nova’s he worked in conjunction with Chevrolet on. This bright orange Nova is ready to tear it up on the street, the drag strip, or hit up the car shows. Under the hood is the potent BBC 427 CID/500 HP which is connected to a Muncie M-21 manual 4-speed transmission. The rear end is a rock solid Ford 9 inch rear end. GM rear ends just weren’t holding up to the power this beast makes. This car will be quick from stoplight to stoplight, and still cruise the highway at reasonable rpm’s. The exterior paint is bright vibrant orange with the proper Yenko Decals. Options include AM/FM Radio with CD player, power brakes, power steering, and seat belts. The ’72 SS Yenko Nova Tribute car rides on a set of Weld Dragstar wheels shod with BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires. If you would like to see this 1972 Chevrolet SS Yenko Nova Tribute car in person, it is located at our Louisville showroom.
